Tomorrow, and tomorrow, and tomorrow

This is a clip recorded for the British television in 1979. Here we have Sir Ian McKellen explaining Macbeth's Tomorrow, and tomorrow, and tomorrow speech (V, v, 17-28). It is very interesting because he speaks from the point of view of an actor (in my opinion, one of the best Shakespearean actors ever); he points out the importance of rhythm and how crucial it is for actors to understand the text. He also highlights the diction of this passage, specially the terms related to time stressing the degradation of the meaning of life.

Besides, towards the end of the clip we can see Sir Ian McKellen performing this brief speech...
He's marvellous!!!!
